MORE ABOUT ANDY MARR

My name is Andrea Marin (stage name: Andy Marr), I’m a guitarist, backing vocalist, composer and arranger based in London (UK) with over 16 years of professional experience performing and recording around the UK, Europe, U.S.A. and Australia.

Since I moved to London in 2007, I’ve worked as a guitarist with many artists and bands, supporting Stereophonics across Europe with “Hero” (pop/rock band) and supporting Leona Lewis with pop/soul singer Nikitta Angus in the UK.

I’ve also been doing sessions in recording studios with several well-known producers in the UK:  Jon Moon, Ian Grimble, Gavin Monaghan, Andy Withmore, Billy Lawrie, Richard Cardwell.

Between 2017 and 2019 I’ve been touring and recording with the singer/vocal coach/producer Lloyd Wade: his work includes collaborations with Take That, Eliza Doolittle, Stevie Wonder, Ellie Goulding and Little Mix (my collaboration with Lloyd is still going on, doing music scores/productions/studio sessions).

While I was on the road with Lloyd Wade, I played shows supporting Thomas Mcclary, founder of The Commodores.

In 2020 and 2021 I was a session player for “Archangel UK” for the pop artist "Nathassia" with producer/label manager Bruce Elliot-Smith who collaborated with Kayle Minogue, won grammy awards and achieved top 10 singles.

In 2022 and 2023 I've toured various venues in Europe and the UK (Including O2 Academy all around the country) with a David Bowie band: we've also toured Australia ins 2023.

I record and write music regularly.

I play different styles of music: pop, rock, folk/acoustic, blues, hard rock, funk, soul, electronic, dance, hip hop, R&B.

I’m very versatile and open-minded, always giving my best!

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to discuss having me in your project or your session.

I can record guitars remotely on a high standard quality and I can also help arranging/writing music even just from a vocal idea.
